Verizon Wireless has finally made available the long-awaited HTC Touch Pro2 to the masses, where it will sport the following specifications :-

  • 1x/EV-DO Revision A 800/1900MHz
  • GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz WCDMA/HSPA 2100MHz
  • Wi-Fi capabilities (802.11 b/g)
  • 3.6″ (480 x 800) tilting touchscreen
  • Advanced speakerphone with noise-cancelling technology
  • 3.2-megapixel auto-focus camera with video capture
  • Touch-sensitive zoom bar
  • Seamless connectivity with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook and Office
  • Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP stereo
  • Qualcomm MSM 7600A 528MHz processor
  • 512MB ROM
  • 288MB RAM

It comes in only one color though – black, so those who are always on the cutting edge of fashion might want to reconsider picking up this business-class smartphone. Surprisingly enough, it isn’t too pricey, going for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, assuming you sign up with a new 2-year customer agreement on a voice plan with an e-mail feature or e-mail plan.
